The town planning department

This service welcomes and advises private individuals and professionals in the field of construction.

Val d'Isère - Town Planning Department

It examines applications for land use permits: building permits, prior declarations, development permits, demolition permits, town planning certificates.

It monitors the preparation of urban planning documents such as the PLU (Local Urban Plan) and is working with the relevant departments on the PPRNP (Plan for the Prevention of Predictable Natural Risks) and the SCOT (Territorial Coherence Scheme).

The environment unit was created and attached to the town planning in 2009after the Alpine World Ski Championships. Among its many missions: monitoring of the sustainable and environmental development approach, management of environmental issues related to town planning authorisations, implementation and monitoring of compensatory measures, relations with farmers...
