Public Procurement
The use of public funds and the size of certain orders require public authorities to comply with a number of principles and procedures, which must be applied to the letter.
The commune of Val d'Isère, as part of its investment policy, cannot effectively carry out its purchases under the same conditions as private players. It has to award a public contract, a contract concluded for valuable consideration between contracting authorities (here the local authority...) and public or private persons.
The various orders placed by the commune of Val d'Isère therefore fall within a regulatory framework: the public procurement code which defines the rules of competition for the purchase of supplies, services or works.
The responding company must scrupulously comply with the terms and conditions set out in the consultation regulations.
