Poetry in Val d'Isère from March 18 to 22!

From March 18 to 22, plunge into the world of poetry for Printemps des poètes! For the 1st edition of this event, the Maison de Val has some great surprises in store for you throughout this poetic week!

Haiku workshop : from age 12 / Registration required

Capture the moment through words and stimulate your creativity by discovering this poetic genre of Japanese origin.

 

Meet the comics: free admission

  • Thursday, March 21 at 5:30 p.m.

Let yourself be seduced by the meeting of two worlds, poetry and comics, through the graphic novel Great Escape by Bérengère Delaporte, inspired by the poem The Panther by Rainer Maria Milke. In partnership with FACIM.

 

Slam workshops : From age 12 / Registration required

Texts, voice, music... Accompanied by artist Fish Le Rouge, take part in one of three slam workshops at Maison de Val. You'll learn how to write your own texts and set your voice to music.

  • Workshop 1: Wednesday, March 20, 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
  • Workshop 2: Thursday, March 21 and Friday, March 22, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
  • Workshop 3: Thursday, March 21 and Friday, March 22, 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.

On registration, the participant agrees to attend all workshop sessions.

Discover poetry through the 7th art.

  • Monday, March 18 at 8:30 p.m. : Bright Star
    Immerse yourself in English Romanticism and the creative writing of one of the world's greatest poets, John Keats, through Jane Campion's film.
  • Tuesday, March 19 at 5:30 p.m. : The King and the Bird
    Straight from Andersen's fairy tales, brought to life by Paul Grimault and written in collaboration with poet Jacques Prévert, (re)discover this animated masterpiece.

 

Fish Le Rouge concert: free admission

In need of vitamins? Come and fill up on energy at the Fish Le Rouge concert! Artist, musician, rapper, slammer and performer: plunge into the heart of a unique universe.
