Call for expressions of interest to operate the Manchet clubhouse

Considered a landmark of the Val-d'Isère area, the Manchet clubhouse is ideally located. As a gateway to the Parc de la Vanoise, it's a popular spot with locals, as well as attracting nature-seeking tourists.

Renovation and modernization work is about to take place, so that everyone can enjoy this well-preserved site. These works will help to develop the tourist attraction for the greatest number of people.

The facility will be completely renovated, with interior work on both levels, relocation of the public toilets to allow PMR (persons with reduced mobility) access, and provision of storage space for the sports park.

A "dedicated sports park area" will be created. In particular, it will enable summer activities to be booked, and will complement the future restaurant area. This new space will be co-designed by the future operator of the site and the tourism operators who will manage it.

The municipal team wanted this project to be built around the values of a sustainable environment, conviviality and a popular atmosphere, while respecting the spirit of the place.

To respond to the municipal team's project, a call for expressions of interest, open to all interested candidates, was published on 28/07/23. Open until 18/09/2023, it included specifications detailing the project and the selection criteria for the future winner.

The criteria for selecting the winner are as follows:

  • Criteria n°1: "Catering" - Weighting: 35% of the total score: value for money of the menu; proposed menu (fresh, local, seasonal products, homemade and vegetarian dishes).
  • Criterion no. 2: "Atmosphere" - Weighting: 25% of total score: experience proposed (diversity and relevance of entertainment), decoration
