Parking and traffic
It adapts from year to year to changes in the municipality. In 2014, the blue zone made its entrance in Val d'Isère. You can park there free of charge for a limited time, which varies according to the location, provided you place your disc behind the windscreen and indicate your arrival time. The blue disc is on sale at the reception of the town hall.
Reminder of parking rules in Val d'Isère
For the well-being of all, it is important that everyone is civic-minded and respects the parking rules. Also the municipality reminds that :
- It is forbidden to park your vehicle on bus stops, sidewalks, pedestrian squares and any unauthorized areas.
- If you park your vehicle in a blue zone, remember to place the disc behind the windshield. Respect the time limit.
Since January 1, 2018, the parking fine tariff has been modified in all French municipalities. The amount of the fine for blue zone offences is €35.
Our recommendations :
- do not exceed the time allowed by the police regulations
- use the blue disk on the areas reserved for this purpose
- use a regulation disk
- place it visibly (and legibly)
electronic PV
The municipal police of Val d'Isère has electronic ticketing. However, to avoid the unpleasant surprise of receiving the report by post, the Municipal Police officers will systematically place an information notice on the vehicle.
